Some Of The Revolutionary Change Techniques We Use At The Milton Clinic

Milton ClinicAt The Milton Clinic, we employ a full range of the latest and most advanced behavioural improvement techniques, including:

Ericksonian Hypnotherapy

Modern Hypnotherapy is a far cry from the old authoritarian ‘look-into-my-eyes’ approach. Today, it’s far more relaxed and non-demanding. You sit comfortably and listen to calming music while a hypnotherapist speaks positive suggestions to your unconscious mind. The suggestion help you create mental imagery to overprint all those old behaviours with new behavioural patterns.

We also use binaural sound wave technology so that the suggestions synchronise with your internal brain wave patterns. This encourages your inner mind into a more receptive state so that the suggestions become much more easily integrated into your thinking patterns.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP was developed out of hypnosis and actually took it to a whole new level by developing more creative ways to embed positive and lasting suggestions into your unconscious mind.

It also revolutionised concepts of therapy when it showed the value of dissociating the thinking of the conscious mind from the problems of the unconscious mind so that changes could be made easily and quickly. In fact, many of NLP’s techniques can be done in minutes.

NLP also has some extremely useful language-exploration models to help you explore and challenge some of the outmoded thinking that keeps you wedded to those old behavioural expectations. This way you can re-evaluate your old behaviours from a more enlightened and empowered perspective.

Design Human Engineering (DHE)

DHE is an advancement of NLP and provides techniques to help you modify your internal thinking patterns so that you plan for the behaviours you want. It’s a little like giving you the tools to redesign the inside of your mind. Effectively, you start with the solutions, and then work backwards to rid yourself of the problems.

Personal Coaching/Counselling

Quite often, people simply need a chance to talk things over with someone else. A sympathetic and supportive coach can help you keep complex issues in perspective, especially when you’re faced with difficult decisions or the need to choose between several paths.

And even some of those seemingly insurmountable problems can become a lot easier to deal with when a personal coach helps you see them in a clearer light.

We often find ourselves getting bogged down or stuck in a rut, spending too much time on things that don’t really matter and losing sight of the big picture.

At the same time, so many of us woefully undervalue our personal skills and capabilities, often leading to weak ambitions and poor perceptions of ourselves.

Through Coaching, we can help you establish a clear path to your goals and help you appreciate and develop your natural skills to the highest levels.

And we’ll help you monitor your progress so that you use your ‘scorecard of achievements’ to keep you even more motivated.
